The project features an architectural design that respects its surroundings, characterized by understated volumes and contemporary lines, where traditional materials combine to create a harmonious whole. The apartments are designed to blend comfort with quality of living, offering spacious balconies with unobstructed views of the surrounding peaks and a selection of exclusive, refined furnishings from Maison Yak—a creator of distinctive furniture and décor.
Guided by the vision of the architect and the interior designer, our mission was to visually capture the interplay between the built structure and the landscape, and between modernity and subtle nods to local traditions.
Regarding the interiors, materials—such as wood, stone, and natural fibers—were meticulously selected to harmonize with the surrounding environment and the local history of Samoëns. The furniture reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and a connection to the region, featuring numerous pieces designed and manufactured by artisans from Savoy and the Rhône-Alpes area.
For the exteriors, the goal was to convey how the building’s volumes follow the slope, frame views of the Grand Massif, and open onto diverse landscape settings—ranging from gardens and small plazas to a scenic viewpoint.
An understated, contemporary architectural style drawing on local references
Panel layouts, timber cladding, and mineral tones—paying homage to the valley’s stone-cutting heritage—revive a reinterpreted Alpine identity.
